The Robert Schuman Foundation, which was created in 1991 and acknowledged for its services to the public is the main French research centre on Europe. It publishes studies on the European Union and its policies and promotes the content of these in France, Europe and beyond. It seeks to nurture and stimulate European debate thanks to its research, its publications and the organisation of conferences. The Foundation is chaired over by Mr Jean-Dominique Giuliani.
